Tuesday 14/01

We all had a safe trip this morning and arrived around 11:40am at Sandhills resort, then went for lunch to build up our strength for the afternoon.

In the afternoon, we organized a kind of small OLYMPIC GAMES: students were divided in 5 groups for 5 workshops in the resort and on the beach:

ARCHERY and HIT THE TARGET (precision skills), OBSTACLE RACE & BODY BALL RELAY (coordination & speed), ORIENTEERING TECHNIQUES (theoretical basics) and MEMORY CARDS GAME (visual memory, speed with illustrations about local fauna & flora). Groups of students did take turns into doing all the activities.

For each workshop, we added the points or the time of each player to obtain the total score of each team and we're happy to announce you that the winning team of the day is the BLUE one!

After that first part, we all gathered together for a some handicraft workshop: students were given out material and had to build their own KITE, being dexterous and creative. Not that easy! Then some of them made their kite fly on the beach, but the wind was extremely strong, so not that easy neither!
